I define a Pinecrest Florida luxury home as a home with over 5,000 square feet. Now with that being said, some of the older homes do need updating. Looking at the tax records we have 893 homes here in Pinecrest with over 5,000 square feet of living area; 327 of those have been built in the past 10 years. The newer homes have designer kitchens, master bedroom suites, multiple entertainment rooms, security systems and some have wine cellars and theatres; and of course they all have beautiful pools! These homes are sitting in lot sizes ranging from 12,075 square feet to 87,120 square feet.
The Pinecrest Florida luxury home market has a wide range of prices; 
from this 6 bedroom, 5 bath 5,541 square foot home on a 19,166
square foot lot built in 2008, sold for $1,400,000
to this 6 bedroom, 7 ½ bath 8,984 square foot home on a 38,170 square foot lot with six detached garages, 
also built in 2008 and sold for $3,665,000.
Mediterranean is by far the most popular style, but we also have some Tudors, French, Tuscan, Mission, Plantation, Key West and Modern style luxury homes in Pinecrest.
The highest priced homes are usually in the northeast corner of Pinecrest with the least expensive properties being in the southwest section of Pinecrest.
