Pinecrest Presbyterian Church is a part of the Presbyterian Church, U.S.A.  We are a Christian community of believers and seekers who worship together, gather for spiritual growth and fellowship, and strive to serve God by helping others.  Our Day School is our largest mission to children, for ages 18 months through Kindergarten.

 

Worship – Our regular worship service is at 10 A.M. each Sunday.  We also have special services including a Kristallnacht service and a beautiful Christmas Eve candlelight service. 

 

Music – We have two Artist-in Residence, Patrick Dupré Quigley and Joanne Schulte.  They lead our Adult Choir in a varied selection of both traditional and contemporary anthems.  A  Children’s Choir provides our younger members with a way to express their faith and share their joy by raising their voices in song.

 

Growth in Our Faith – Opportunities include Sunday School classes for all ages,  the Pastor’s weekday Bible Study, Adult Ed. Classes and Day School chapel services.

 

Caring for Our Members – Our deacons can arrange for temporary assistance in times of crisis, and members of the Prayer Chain offer intercessory prayers for those in need.  Pastoral visitation at home or in the hospital is available.

 

Caring for Our Community – Monthly Hunger Fund Offering, Miami Bridge,  South Dade migrant children,  emergency disaster relief, and One Great Hour of Sharing are representative of the local and global mission ministries we support to empower and seek justice for all people.

 

Fun and Fellowship – Pot-luck brunches, Lenten suppers,  coffee hours, Book Club, fellowship dinners and game nights, choral concerts, and more!
