Pinecrest Florida is known for its beautiful parks. Each park has its own feel and all are exceptionally well maintained. Pinecrest resident do visit and enjoy their parks!
Coral Pine Park 6955 SW 104th Street Tennis players like this park; it has six lighted tennis courts! There is also a recreation center with multi purpose rooms available for rental, a natural hardwood hammock area and a tot-lot. I quite often see children's birthday parties held here.
Evelyn Greer Park 8200 SW 124th Street Here you have softball and soccer fields, batting cages, a vita-course, a community gazebo, a recreation center and it's also a Wi-Fi spot. This park is especially popular with families having young children. It has a really nice tot-lot; a real eye catcher.
Flagler Grove Park 7551 SW 104th Street This is our newest park. It's a small park with soccer fields and a playground.
Pinecrest Community Center 5855 SW 111th Street The Pinecrest library is also located here. There are activities and classes going on here year round; fitness, photography, dancing, foreign languages, computer, etc. There is also a fitness center you can join. Many clubs meet at the community center. Outside there is a vita course, soccer fields, a walking path and it's also a Wi-Fi spot.
Pinecrest Gardens 5855 SW 111th Street This is the jewel of the Pinecrest park system. Just look at the video! Not only is it a gorgeous place to walk around; many activities go on here year round. It's also a great place for children's birthday parties and weddings. This is a must visit park! Adjacent to the gardens is the Pinecrest Community Center and the Pinecrest library.
Red Road Linear Park Red Road (57th Ave) from Kendall Drive (88th Street) to Killian Drive (112th Street) This is not really a park per se. It is a 2.5 mile long walking/bicycling wide pathway that runs along the Snapper Creek Canal. There are several rest areas along the way where one can enjoy the pretty views.
Suniland Park 12855 Pinecrest Parkway (US1/South Dixie Hwy) There always seems to be a softball game going on here! Besides the multi-purpose ball fields there is a recreation center with rental facilities, lighted basketball courts, a tot-lot and a walking path - this is also a WiFi spot.
Veterans Wayside Park Corner of Pinecrest Parkway (US1/South Dixie Hwy) and Killian Drive (112th Street) This was a former quarry pit used during the construction of US1. On Veteran's Day 2007 the park was dedicated to honor the service of our Armed Forces. It's a nice place to stop and stretch your legs; there are some picnic tables and a scenic freshwater pond.
