Pinecrest Florida has many wonderful restaurants. Of course we have all the fast food chains, but here I am going to share with you the ones I have personally visited. Most of the restaurants in Pinecrest are along South Dixie Highway, that's US 1. I'm going to present them to you in no particular order and if you have any questions; just drop me a line or give me a call. By the way, I have not received anything from anyone to write this! Guadalajara Mexican ~ 8461 SW 132nd Street, Pinecrest, FL This restaurant serves real good Mexican food; I go here often. The combination platter and the green chicken enchiladas are my favorite. I've been here with several diffent groups of people and everyones walks out happy. Anacapri ~ 12669 South Dixie Highway, Pinecrest, FL This is a nice upscale Italian restaurant. The service is excellent; I especially like the shrimp in lemon sauce (I know it has a name, but I can't think of it right now!) with pasta. Las Culebrinas ~ 12257 South Dixie Highway, Pinecrest, FL This is Miami; you can just imagine how many Cuban restaurants there are here! This one is one of the best. The restaurant is small and on the weekends there is usually a wait, but it's worth it. I love the pork dishes here. Captain's Tavern ~ 9625 South Dixie Highway, Pinecrest, FL A good American food restaurant that been around a long time. Many folks go there on Tuesday nights for their lobster special. Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza ~ 10205 South Dixie Highway, Pinecrest, FL Well, the name says it all here. I had their meatball pizza; it was good. Now these pizza's are baked in a coal over so expect to have a dark edge and some dark bubbles. Sea Siam ~ 12735 Sout Dixie Highway, Pinecrest, FL Their specialty here is Thai food. I am not too familiar with Thai food but my Thai friends say that this is some of the best. I always order the Volcano Chicken when I go here. Di Napoli Italian ~ 11755 South Dixie Highway, Pinecrest, FL When I go here I like to order the pasta with shrimp; the garlic bread is good here too. I've had several of their pizza's; they are cooked in a brick oven, they are real good too. Rubens ~ 8281 SW 124th Street, Pinecrest, FL At this Cuban restaurant you will eat at the counter. It is a small inexpensive family run restaurant that's been in Pinecrest for a very long time. The Cuban food, sandwiches and breakfast dishes are all good - let's not forget the Cuban coffee! Locals frequent this place a lot. Wagon's West ~ 11311 South Dixie Highway, Pinecrest FL This is like our neighborhood diner; it's been around forever. It's just good home cooked style meals. Sometimes there's a wait outside, but it's never too bad. Fleming's, Taste of Denmark ~ 8511 SW 136th Street, Pinecrest, FL Every dish I have ever had here has been good. When I think of continental cuisine, this is the kind of restaurant that comes to mind. Reservations are recommended. Sushi Rock ~ 11293 South Dixie Highway, Pinecrest, FL Clients of mine wanted to take me out to dinner to their favorite restaurant; this was it! Now, I didn't know how to tell them that I didn't eat sushi, but I kept an open mind. I ordered a dish that had lobster prepared three different ways; oh my, it was delicious! Needless to say, I have returned. Daily Bread ~ 12131 South Dixie Highway, Pinecrest, FL Middle Eastern food is what is served here; I like the gyros. There are a few tables here with a small ethnic grocery shop. Kaliapy's ~ 12153 South Dixie Highway, Pinecrest, FL This Italian restaurant is right next door to my office. When those cooking aromas start coming through ...boy does it make it hard to concentrate! I've eaten here several times, delicious everytime. The cook has even come out to our table to make sure that everything has been prepared to our liking. Roasters and Toasters ~ 9465 South Dixie Highway, Pinecrest, FL When I think of a New York style deli, this is the place that comes to mind. Breakfast here is wonderful and deli sandwiches are generous! Sometimes you will have to wait a little to get seated. |
