Pinecrest Florida Condos and Townhomes


Condos in Pinecrest Florida are not plentiful but we do have some. Pinecrest Florida is known for its large homes with beautiful grounds and its wonderful school system.  Pinecrest homes for sale; Pinecrest Florida real estate is some of the most expensive real estate in South Florida.  The number one reason Buyers contact me for buying property in Pinecrest Florida is to get their children in the Pinecrest schools.

There are three condo developments in the north end of Pinecrest which puts them very close to Dadeland Mall, which has Florida's largest Macy store and 184 more specialty stores, Downtown Dadeland, and the Metro Rail station.

Even though Pinecrest Florida is known for its estates and gardens, we also do have townhomes for sale in Pinecrest. Villas of Pinecrest, French Village, The Reserve and Swan Lake are townhouse communities in Pinecrest. 


http://filelibrary.myaasite.com/Content/11/11822/31195000.jpgSwan Lake in Pinecrest is a luxury townhouse development built by the Breakstone Group in the early 90´s.  The Breakstone Group is a south Florida company well known for their upscale developments.  Swan Lake received the Building Industry Association of South Florida award for Best of Show in 1993.  Swan Lake is at the corner of Ludlam Road (67th Avenue) and Kendall Drive (88th Street).  It is in the much sought after Pinecrest Elementary school district.  Swan Lake is close to the Dadeland Mall area where it is stores and restaurants galore!

When you drive through the 24 hour manned guard gate you enter into one of the most beautiful community in the area; beautiful water features and very lush landscaping.

Most all the townhomes in Swan Lake have elevators, high ceilings, marble floors, wonderful kitchens, balconies and garages.  There is a community pool, library and gym.

As you enter French Village through its cobblestoned pave main street you will see the beautiful center fountain and the flame gas street lights.  These elegant spacious townhomes feature many amenities such as designer kitchens, whirlpool tubs and marble, travertine and or wood floors.  Each townhome is individually gated, has a two car garage and most have their own private pool!

The Villas of Pinecrest were built in 1966 and were updated and converted into condos and townhouses in the 1990´s; there are 206 units.  I think of a condo as a one-floor unit and a townhouse as having two or more floors; here we have both.
