Pinecrest Florida Restaurants
Pinecrest Florida has many wonderful restaurants. Of course we have all the fast food chains, but here I am going to share with you the ones I have personally visited. Most of the restaurants in Pinecrest are along South Dixie Highway, that's US 1. I'm going to present them to you in no particular order and if you have any questions; just drop me a line or give me a call.
By the way, I have not received anything from anyone to write these reviews! Please feel free to email me your suggestions.
Apizza Brooklyn ~ 9515 South Dixie Highway, Pinecrest, FL
This has become a real popular place! Was taken there for my birthday and I had the Chicken Parmigiana, it was good. My friend had the Pumpkin Ravioli - that was great! During the holidays I invited a group of friends to eat there and we ordered pizzas. The Brooklynite, it was very good, Da Bomb was OK (I guess because I'm not a big sausage person) and the Grandma Tookit was a fabulous white pizza.
Pinecrest Bakery ~ 12101 South Dixie Highway, Pinecrest, FL
This is your typical latin bakery, though there are a couple of coaches and a few chairs at the eat in counter. The pastries are OK, the coffee is good, but the steak sandwiches is great!
Manhattan Chicago Pizza ~ 12715 South Dixie Highway, Pinecrest, FL
I had the spniach Chicago style pizza here - it was very tasty! There are only a couple of tables here, I would suggest calling and taking out.
The Cheese Course ~ 11355 South Dixie Highway, Pinecrest, FL
What a neat restaurant; different! I went with my branch manager and had a wonderful lunch; others from my office were there too. I had the grilled chicken breast sandwich which was out of this world. The salads my associates were having looked great. I definitely look forward to returning to try one of the cheese sampler trays.
Guadalajara Mexican ~ 8461 SW 132nd Street, Pinecrest, FL
This restaurant serves real good Mexican food; I go here often. The combination platter and the green chicken enchiladas are my favorite. I've been here many times with several diffent groups of people and everyones walks out happy.
Anacapri ~ 12669 South Dixie Highway, Pinecrest, FL
This is a nice upscale Italian restaurant. The service is excellent; I especially like the shrimp in lemon sauce with pasta; the lasagne is good too!.
Captain's Tavern ~ 9625 South Dixie Highway, Pinecrest, FL
A good American food restaurant that been around a long time. Many folks go there on Tuesday nights for their lobster special. I understand the burgers here are excellent; maybe on my next visit!
Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza ~ 10205 South Dixie Highway, Pinecrest, FL
Well, the name says it all here. I had their meatball pizza; it was good. Now these pizza's are baked in a coal over so expect to have a dark edge and some dark bubbles.
Sea Siam ~ 12735 South Dixie Highway, Pinecrest, FL
Their specialty here is Thai food. I am not too familiar with Thai food but my Thai friends say that this is some of the best. I always order the Volcano Chicken when I go here. Now lately I've been ordering the Red Curry.
Di Napoli Italian ~ 11755 South Dixie Highway, Pinecrest, FL
When I go here I like to order the pasta with shrimp; the garlic bread is good here too. I've had several of their pizza's; they are cooked in a brick oven, they are real good too.
Wagon's West ~ 11311 South Dixie Highway, Pinecrest FL
This is like our neighborhood diner; it's been around forever. It's just good home cooked style meals. Sometimes there's a wait outside, but it's never too bad.
Keg South ~ 10417 South Dixie Highway, Pinecrest, FL
This is a burger and beer joint! Nothing fancy here; it's been around like forever, parking is in the back. The burgers and fries are what keeps me and my friends coming back!
Malanga Café ~ 12313 South Dixie Highway, Pinecrest, FL
This restaurant bills itself as having the "Worlds Best Pan con Lechon" (roast pork) sandwich. So on my visit there that is what I ordered. It was wonderful! Please note, it is very large; you can easily share it with someone. Occasionally there is evening entertainment here.
Sushi Rock ~ 11293 South Dixie Highway, Pinecrest, FL
Clients of mine wanted to take me out to dinner to their favorite restaurant; this was it! Now, I didn't know how to tell them that I didn't eat sushi, but I kept an open mind. I ordered a dish that had lobster prepared three different ways; oh my, it was delicious! Needless to say, I have returned.
Daily Bread ~ 12131 South Dixie Highway, Pinecrest, FL
Middle Eastern food is what is served here; I like the gyros, the salads are very good here also. There are a few tables here with a small ethnic grocery shop.
Roasters and Toasters ~ 9465 South Dixie Highway, Pinecrest, FL
When I think of a New York style deli, this is the place that comes to mind. Breakfast here is wonderful and deli sandwiches are generous! Sometimes you will have to wait a little to get seated.
